That's showbiz!

True story.

The Forest/IEA event, A Beer and a Fag with Farage, almost featured on Mock The Week on BBC2 tonight.

On Tuesday we received an email from a researcher on the show:

We're covering the Conservative conference this week. One of the angles we're looking at is how Nigel Farage was 'airbrushed' from some of the literature, including the Forest advert placed in the official programme which was featured in the Sunday Times.

They wanted a copy of both the original advertisement and the one that had Farage's name removed.

I was even sent a licence agreement to sign and return.

Sadly I have just been told that the item has been cut, although it might make the end of series compilation.

Needless to say I'll watch tonight's show, just in case.
