On this day last year – Forest's 40th anniversary dinner

No Forest events this summer but here's a reminder of our 40th anniversary dinner on this day, twelve long months ago.

There were also speeches by Mark Littlewood (Institute of Economic Affairs) and Claire Fox (Academy of Ideas).

Madsen Pirie (Adam Smith Institute) gave the toast and there were presentations to former Forest spokesman Brian Monteith and TV chef and publican Antony Worrall Thompson.

Talking of AWT, the clip below is possibly my favourite moment of the evening but there were other highlights including an after dinner set by comedian Geoff Norcott (pictured below with Chris Snowdon).

If you were one of the 180 guests I’ll raise a glass this evening to your good health. Hope to see you again soon!
