Now for something completely different

Further to my previous post …

I was going to introduce my presentation to delegates at GTNF2014 with the words "And now for something completely different" but I forgot. (A case of Ed Miliband style dementia?)

What made it different was this video, filmed by Dan Donovan a few weeks ago. It features his band King Kool.

Dan is the lead singer and guitarist and for a two-piece band they make a hell of a noise, the sort of sound you don't normally hear at an industry convention.

The main part of my presentation was about Forest and the work we do. I finished by mentioning our new campaign, Action on Consumer Choice, to be launched shortly.

I then introduced the video and added, "I think it captures the spirit of Forest."

One or two delegates seemed a trifle bemused but see what you think. Dan tells me he was going for an Easy Rider vibe! Personally, I love it.

You can also view it on YouTube here. We only uploaded it last night so you'll be one of the first to see it.

That was actually a great track. But then I like that kind of music anyway, always have. Have they released any albums?

Ah, just scrolled down to the previous post and picked up the link to their album. Cheers.
