A great piece in defence of legit consumers after the appalling attack by Peter Franklin. Had that bile been written about any other lifestyle, social or racial group, Franklin would have been prosecuted for inciting hatred. He should be but we all know the Conservatives as well as Labour and the Limp Dumps see smokers as scum to be attacked, beaten, spat at, lied about, persecuted for money, harassed at every opportunity, and this is why they will lose GE 2015. #WeSmokeWeVote and we will not be shoved around any longer.

Some good words by Brian Monteith for Con Home, if Peter Franklin believes we aren't being persecuted then his head is in desperate need of some very deep therapy. It would be interesting to hear what his definition of persecution is!
Agree with Pat too. I just hope though good people, that Nigel has taken on board all that alienated smokers have been saying now for many years. We have a great opportunity come the next election...to kick the nasties into touch...and keep them there.
I hope there won't be any clouds on the horizon like UKIP's policy on minimum alcohol pricing. This would be anti-libertarian to say the least. UKIP must stand for freedom of choice and nothing less.
We as those who believe we have the right to choose our own lifestyles without unnecessary interference from the state...are banking on UKIP to eventually come through for us in our hour of need at the next election!
Please don't let us down Nigel...
