Thanks to the MP (a non-smoker) who yesterday gave me a copy of a new book and wrote, on the title page:

Here's to safe smoking in Pubs and Clubs

Title of the book? The Future of Conservatism.

But surely smoking has always been 'safe' in pubs and clubs -unless (arguably) YOU are the smoker !
