A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that Forest had received an unusual request.
A young singer-songwriter from Hong Kong via Bristol University emailed to ask us to promote her new song which was due for release on June 10.
The problem was, the song was called ‘Please Stop Smoking’ and she thought Forest was an anti-smoking group.
I posted our correspondence here and the good news is ...
‘Please Stop Smoking’ is now available on all streaming platforms including Apple Music, Spotify and Deezer.

To my surprise the song is quite catchy and the video, like the song, is rudimentary but rather sweet so please don’t be rude about it.
Perhaps Quit for Covid could adopt it to boost their ailing campaign!
PS. Just played ‘Please Stop Smoking’ to my wife. Her response:
