Next week Forest will host our third online meeting during the current pandemic.
I’m reluctant to call it a webinar because that makes it sound more formal than it is.
Anyway our first two meetings discussed issues such as the menthol cigarette ban and calls to ban smoking in seated areas outside pubs and cafes when restrictions are eased.
For our next event we are going to try and recreate - without the voting - something similar to the balloon debates we organised in London (2017) and Birmingham (2018).
Guest speakers will be invited to explain why they like one of the following nicotine devices or products – cigarette, rollies, pipe, cigar, e-cigarette, heated tobacco and snus.
Each speaker will have a few minutes to make their case following which everyone else will be given a chance to chip in.
