Merry Christmas!

Many thanks to everyone who continues to read this blog - now in its 14th year.

A friend is currently in hospital having contracted Covid so my thoughts are with her and anyone else who may be unwell.

Some of you – like the lady I mentioned in my previous post – may have lost someone close to you this year.

Others, for a variety of reasons (not all of them Covid-related), may be alone this Christmas.

So while it's still legal I'd like to say "Merry Christmas" and hope that you have the best possible time over the next few days.

Below: The view from the bottom of our road this morning.

My car is on the other side of the bridge where I had to abandon it last night with a 15lb turkey still in the boot.

Did I say Merry Christmas?!
