Review of the week

Headlines from the Forest website:

From The Free Society:

From Hands Off Our Packs:

Quote of the week

PR Week provided this quote from the Hands Off Our Packs launch party:

Flack attended a party for pro-smoking lobby group Forest's 'Hands off our packs' campaign, which opposes government plans to introduce plain packaging for cigarettes. Appropriately, Guido Fawkes didn't make it off the balcony during the speeches, as he was inhaling nicotine. He missed director-general of the Institute of Economic Affairs Mark Littlewood telling the room that arch-nemesis ASH has proven that "smoking is one of the leading causes of statistics" ...

Accompanying the piece is a picture of Littlewood looking remarkably youthful.

And finally:

I have been a bit busy this week but I will come back to the subject of DP's complaint later.

The creeping totalitarianism in the Mother of Parliaments (that's England, by the way - NOT 'Westminster') is now truly beyond parody.

No wonder the admirable and beauteous Annie Machon (ex-MI5 'whistleblower' and vigorous Truth Campaigner) has deserted these shores for a country where Freedom is now more clearly prized than here.

Germany !

Just about says it all, really.
